Cookie policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
This policy explains what this site keeps in your browser and why. It sits alongside our privacy policy.
Kept in your browser
A preference you choose is remembered in your browser so the site stays the way you left it. It stays on your device, is never sent to us or anyone else and isn’t used to track you, so it needs no consent under the UK’s PECR rules.
| Name | Stored as | What it remembers | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
theme | Local storage | Your light, dark or automatic appearance choice | Until you change it or clear site data |
Tools that run in your browser
Site search runs entirely in your browser from an index published with the site. What you type isn’t sent to us or to a search provider.
Analytics
We use Umami to see which pages are read and how visitors find the site: pages visited, the general location and type of device, and the site you came from. Umami doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store anything on your device, doesn’t keep your full IP address and can’t follow you to other sites, so it can’t build a profile of you.
Third-party content
Videos and photos are served from this site, not from third parties. If a page later embeds content from another provider, that provider may set its own cookies; their policy explains them.
Managing stored data
You can clear cookies and stored site data in your browser’s settings at any time. Clearing site data for headlandyachting.com removes everything listed above.
