More about Saltwind
Saltwind is the kind of boat families and groups of friends come back to. Four equal double cabins mean nobody draws the short straw, and the wide flybridge and foredeck lounge give everyone somewhere to be on their own when they want to.
Her captain knows which anchorages empty out after the day boats leave, and her chef cooks around what's fresh on the islands that week: grilled mahi-mahi at Jost Van Dyke, a beach barbecue on Norman Island, pancakes in the morning at anchor.
The crew
Jack and Ama have sailed together for six seasons in the Virgin Islands. Jack knows the quiet anchorages; Ama cooks with whatever the fishermen and farmers bring to the dock that morning.
